Alchemy Staff

We are excited to announce Robert Boyle as Alchemy’s Executive Director! Below is Robert's thoughts and feelings moving towards great things:

"Dear Alchemists,

Skateboarding and Tacoma's youth are powerful in so many ways. They are uniquely free, engaging and creative. Alchemy's mission of inspiring youth to learn and grow through skateboarding brings these two sometimes volatile elements together in a way that can be intensely positive and transformative.

As a board member for the past two years, I have seen Alchemy grow in the most dynamic of ways. I couldn't be more proud of the work the staff and board have done to get us here. The obstacles to creating any organization are tremendous, and building a nonprofit that supports youth, community, social justice and education through skateboarding is a task only Alchemy's founder Ben Warner could have completed so successfully. His tireless work bringing together a diverse group of supporters and participants has been paramount to Alchemy's success, and his impact will be felt far into the future. For that we are so thankful.

I am excited and honored to begin to serve as executive director for such a groundbreaking nonprofit. With careful guidance, the potential of Alchemy's reach and impact is near limitless. But we can't do it alone. I want to personally thank each of you for your support and participation in Alchemy. It means the world to us and to our participants to have you by our side as we continue to break new ground. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Robert Boyle
