GRIT CITY GRINDHOUSE - SKATE PARTS AND SERVICES
PEPPR is a new weekly skate session offered every Monday from 6-8pm. This session is free and open to any of Alchemy’s former program alumni - if you’ve ever participated in SALT, METALS, Skate Class, our Camps, or Volunteered with us, PEPPR is for you!

DROP-IN SESSIONS & PRIVATE SESSION PARK RENTALS
Lessons are a great way to get started skating, or to bring your skills to the next level! $85 for an hour includes: Private access to skatepark, use of boards/pads/helmets, and an instructors to work with you on whatever skills you are learning! Add on another skater $20 per rider to make it a group lesson!

ALCHEMY’S SKATEBOARDING AND LEADERSHIP TEAM
The METALS program is a community-based recidivism/prevention program for court-involved youth in Pierce County. We use skateboarding and skateboard manufacturing as a tool to help youth transition out of the Juvenile Court system and build a network of positive supporters, mentors, and friends.

Session Types:
Drop In Hours are offered every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3-5 & 5-7pm! Walk-ins welcome, or save time and earn reward points by booking your spot online or on the “Alchemy Skateboarding” app!
Walk-In Drop-In sessions are available during the week if the park is not booked - $5 per rider for one-hour of open park time - any other riders who come in will be able to join in on the session - If you’d like to ensure availability, or have privacy during your skate time please book a Private Session!
Rent the whole park to yourself for a flat rate $20 per hour - bring as many or as few friends as you’d like to join in, and feel free to book back-to-back sessions if they are available! Private Sessions are available most weekdays and weekends before 3pm.
Private Lessons include access to various boards, pads, and helmets as well as private use of the skatepark and a trained skate instructor to work with you on whatever level you are at! If you have more than one skater looking for support, you can add up to 3 skaters for $20 per rider. If you have a larger group than 4 please reach out as we may be able to accommodate group lessons depending on staff schedules.
Beginner Hours are a specific learning based session on Saturdays for skaters of any age looking for support. There is an instructor present to help riders progress and learn or improve various beginner level skills. This session is also great if you don’t need help but feel better skating in a slower paced skate environment!
Grrls 2 The Front is a special free skate session for women, girls, trans, non-binary, or queer skaters to skate and connect with each other. Instruction is also available for anyone looking for help during these sessions!
Our park features small modular ramps that allow skaters to adjust or create new features ensuring an ever changing skatepark. While Alchemy is not not a big park, it is always dry and ready to skate!
Please Remember:
- Skate sessions begin and end at the scheduled time so please be on time to accommodate park cleaning between sessions - hit traffic or running late - give us a call and we’ll do what we can to accomidate!
-Helmets required for riders under 18
-Waivers required for all riders on first visit - riders under 18 need parent/guardian signatures to ride.

FAQ’s:
Q: Do I need to sign a waiver?
A: Yes, all skaters at Alchemy must sign a liability waiver/media release before skating, skaters under 18 must have parent/guardian signature as well. You can right-click and save the waiver to print and sign at home before your visit!
Q: Do you have boards, helmets, and pads available to use?
A: YES! And they are FREE for all participants to use! Every pad/helmet is sanitized after each use and supplies may be limited.
Q: Do you allow scooters, bikes, or roller-skates in the park?
A: We allow quad skates and inline skates in the park, however bikes and scooters are prohibited due to the design, size, and materials in the park.
Q: Can I skate if I don’t have $5 for Drop-In Sessions?
A: If you are under 24 and cannot afford the entry fee you can apply to the Youth Access Fund (link at bottom of the site) to receive free access during Drop-Ins! We also cover the cost of everyone’s first visit to the park.
Q: Is there a capacity limit for Drop-Ins or Rentals?
A: No more than 30 people are permitted in the park at a time, however since it is a small space, we recommend capping your group at 12-15 as there is only enough space for 1-3 riders to skate at a time.
